Welcome home cycling nuts!

When I entered the pro cycling world a few months back, I promised myself that no matter how busy I got with the day-to-day, I'd take time to step back every now and again and tackle items that were on my mental cycling "to do list." Tops on that list was to create a place where I could hear directly from a rider just how hard a race really was, or from a mechanic the best way to keep my 10spd crisp, or from a soigneur just how much actually goes in to feeding 8 guys on a week long stage race.

I always wanted the info faster than once a month. And most importantly, I wanted the info directly from the horses mouth...not polished, formatted, or perfectly written by committee...just in rider talk...the same way my friends and I used to tirelessly debate and speculate on these same issues coursing the hills of Marin.

In short, and at the risk of being too cliche, this site is for you. Send your questions, thoughts and comments along and you can steer the direction the site goes. As the "new guy" on the pro scene, in the coming weeks, I'll share with you some of my initial observations...
